The Ready-to-Work program provides training and career planning needed by employment seekers for a structured transition to the tourism workforce. The program offers a mix of classroom and on-the-job-training that provides participants with the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and experience required for long term, stable employment in tourism - the world's fastest growing industry!

The Ready-to-Work Program (RTW) Program can provide:

• Relevant entry-level career and transferable skills training using the Tourism Essentials program.
• Valuable work experience in tourism businesses that can put you on the path to long-term employment and a successful career.
• A network of employers and other tourism employees.

Ready-to-Work is a national skills development program sponsored by the Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island and is funded by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council.
